About Darkold
A dark electronic project born between computers, DAWs and too many sleepless nights.
Darkold is a music project formed by Koldo Iglesias and Arka Devbil, specialising in a blend of synthwave and darkwave. Their sound is powerful and melancholic, driven by deep lyrics and a constant fascination with the darker side of emotion.
Koldo and Arka met in the city of Bilbao, where they discovered a shared obsession with electronic music and decided to join forces to create Darkold. The project mixes dark electronics, guitars and dense atmospheres, exploring themes of burnout, reconstruction and that strange kind of loneliness that appears even when you’re surrounded by people.
Darkold has released tracks like “Deleted”, “Forbidden Desires”, “Sharp Glass”, “Betrayal finds a home” and “Hooded Avenger”, and is now moving further into cinematic territory with “Niebla y Silencio” and the upcoming single “The Stone” — continuing their exploration of dark, emotional electronic music.
